    Pick a pattern (or none) and a direction (or flat), then choose a palette or your own colors. Seven patterns: mesh, dots, waves, contours, stripes, grid and rings, each with its own settings (dot shape, wave swell, contour detail, stripe angle, ring centre and more) and a shuffle. Finish with film grain, or tap Surprise.

  • Type

    A proverb from the built-in collection, or your own words. Six typefaces, three sizes, nine placements on a 3×3 grid, and ink set to Auto, Light or Dark. Favorite the proverbs you love.

  • Save and share

    Made for iPhone and iPad. Save to Photos at your screen’s native resolution, or share the image anywhere. No account, and no data collected.

How do I save a wallpaper?

Tap Save in Stillpaper and allow access to add photos. Your finished wallpaper appears in Photos as a full-resolution PNG.

How do I set it as my wallpaper?

Open your saved image in Photos and use the system wallpaper editor. If iOS zooms into the words, pinch out to bring the complete composition back into view.

What if Photos access was denied?

Tap Save again, then choose Open Settings in the alert. Allow Stillpaper to add photos, return to the app, and save again. You can also use Share to send the image to a destination you choose.

Does it work on iPad?

Yes. Wallpapers export at your iPad screen’s full native resolution in the current portrait or landscape orientation, even when Stillpaper is in a smaller window.

Where are my words and designs stored?

Your latest design and editor preferences stay on your device. There’s no account, advertising, or analytics in the app. Read the privacy policy.
